DECORATION DAY 2018

June 26, 2018

The Decoration Day Service for the Coldwater Cemetery was held on Sunday, June 24, 2018.  Despite the uncertain weather forecast, dozens of people showed-up to take part in the outdoor service, decorate graves, and pay respect to their deceased loved ones.  Members of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 270 Coldwater provided a Colour Guard for the event, while bugler Paul Bolyea, piper Tracey Devine, and the Huronia Harmonizers offered musical support.  The Service was officiated by Reverend Captain Ron McLean.  Tea was provided at the Legion by the Coldwater branch's Ladies Auxiliary following the ceremony.  Thank you to all who participated and contributed in any way.
