COLDWATER LEGION SUPPORTS SKATING CLUB

On Tuesday August 20, 2019, Royal Canadian Legion Branch 270 Coldwater President, Comrade Norm Marion (left), presented a cheque for $200 to the Coldwater Skating Club. Accepting the donation on behalf of the club are, left to right: Jessica Gray; Charlotte Gray; and Madeline Thornton, all involved with the skating club as member or volunteer.

Many Canadians don’t realize that the Legion is one of the largest supporters of community youth activities in the country. The Legion supports youth leadership programs and activities such as Cadets, Scouts and Guides, and youth sports, helping build the next generation of leaders.
