THE TREE OF WARMTH

Coldwater School Secretary Sue MacMillan (left) poses here by the Tree of Warmth with Legion's Ways & Means Chairperson Maggie Murphy.

In 2017, we, at the Coldwater Legion, worked hard to increase our presence in local events, taking part in village activities like Canada 150th celebrations, the Fall Fair, and the many other events that make Coldwater such a vibrant community. There are many ways in which the Coldwater Legion contributed to the Coldwater community, and our Tree of Warmth is just one of them. In December, the Legion's Tree of Warmth provided dozens of warm mitts, scarves and hats to the kids of Coldwater Public School. Thank you Maggie and your team, and thank you to local business Julie's Boutique for a significant donation of articles of clothing to this great initiative.
