Dan Needles is best known as the author of the Wingfield Farm stage plays which have been performed in virtually every English-speaking theatre in Canada over the last 35 years, including the Stratford Festival and Mirvish Productions in Toronto. He has written fifteen stage plays and three books, including True Confession from the Ninth Concession which forms the basis of a stage show he performs with folksinger Ian Bell. He also writes for several farm magazines and mentors emerging writers with Humber College.

In 2016 Dan was made a Member to the Order of Canada by the Governor General for a body of work that celebrates rural Canada.

He is going to take us on a ramble through his fictional Persephone Township - past and present.
