Today, April 9, 2026, Royal Canadian Legion Branch 270 Coldwater 2nd Vice President, Comrade Al Myre, accompanied by other members of the Branch Executive, laid a wreath at the Cenotaph in memory of those Canadian soldiers who fought – and too many who died – at the Battle of Vimy Ridge on that day in 1917. On Wednesday April 1, our Coldwater Wednesday Night Darts league showed its support to the community by making donations to various causes of their choice, including a donation of $1,000.00 to Coldwater's Children's Breakfast Club, another $1,000.00 to the Coldwater Foodbank, and $1,000.00 to the Branch itself.
