COLDWATER CELEBRATES ST.PATRICK'S DAY 2023

On Friday March 17, St. Patrick's Day, dozens of people gathered in downtown Coldwater to celebrate this traditional "Irish-for-the-Day" event. Several members of Royal Canadian Legion Branch 270 Coldwater organized and took part in this annual – quite informal - parade. They were joined by an enthusiastic crowd of local residents to march on the main street through Coldwater. Many of them carried on afterwards to the Legion's Club Room to celebrate in a definitely Irish-green environment. Appropriate live music was provided by Bruce Naismith, and our three local lady pipers added an indoor piper serenade. Thank you to all who participated and/or helped with the celebrations, and congratulations to this year's King and Queen, Stephen Franks and Martha Pringle.
