COLDWATER DUCK RACE DAY
- May 31

On Saturday May 30, hundreds of people gathered in Coldwater for the annual Lions Duck Race Parade. As per tradition, a Colour Party from Royal Canadian Legion Branch 270 Coldwater led the parade, with many of our members involved in supporting the event in various roles. And then, of course, people got to watch thousands of little rubber ducks float down the Coldwater River and compete to get their "owner" one of the great prizes. Congratulations to the winners and a big thank you to all the exhibitors, sponsors and participants!

Our Legion Colour Party looked very professional, all dressed up for the parade. Left-to-right: Comrades Barry Gougeon; Kari Malmström; John O'Hara; and Norm Marion.

The Branch 34 Orillia Pipes & Drums was a great feature on the parade and kept our Colour Party in step.
